Concerned Black American Citizens, Inc. (CBAC) advances recognition, restoration, and self-determination for Freedmen families—the descendants of emancipated American chattel slaves.

We preserve heritage, strengthen community institutions, develop leadership, expand access to resources and funding, and promote economic, civic, and cultural advancement. Through advocacy, education, fiscal sponsorship, workforce development, and strategic partnerships, we help communities transform historical exclusion into lasting opportunity, resilience, and prosperity for future generations.
