MISSION

Concerned Black American Citizens, INC (CBAC) exists to educate, organize, and mobilize Black Americans descended from chattel slavery around the systemic barriers driving the lineage wealth gap. Our mission is to advance economic and environmental justice by equipping communities with the tools, knowledge, and institutional power to influence policy and reclaim resources.

Through our evolution into a grant administrator and fiscal sponsor, CBAC reclaims philanthropic power as a form of reparative action—disrupting traditional funding hierarchies and reinvesting in grassroots leadership. We are decolonizing wealth by centering the voices, expertise, and agency of those most impacted in the design and distribution of resources, ensuring that communities historically excluded from prosperity are now empowered to build it.
